Punto y Raya Festival

I just got picked to be part of this deadly festival in Mardrid. Dots and Lines, pretty fitting considering the content of my pieces.
Here's the trailer. They put my country down as USA, oops on the representing. The selection looks pretty fantastic though.

The Big Picture Event

I was in a show with superawesomeballs people and I had a great time. How about that. We made a show for a building in Tallaght that is no longer in use but is pimped up to the max with touch screen computers, projectors and other redundant technological delights. I had a visual music installation piece called Square Ball.
Here's a video someone took.

Iota clip of the week

Hup. The Night After I Kicked It just got clip of the week on the Iota Center website. This is a great honour for me because I am a avid follower of their postings.

Inis Oirr

Inis Oirr, what an island. We were the only main-landers there and as soon as we arrived off the boat there was scones, tea, hang sandwiches and a crackling fire waiting for us. I'll be back for I've promised my father a pint.

The Crib of 2010

We kept up the great tradition of our window crib. The photos miss out on some of the detail but let me tell you it was very 2010.
In the subterranean level there are the Chilean miners having their last supper, an oil pipe, skeletons and a lava vent. The crib itself was frightfully political featuring baby Jesus (a felt cutout of Ireland), Joseph played by Nicolas Sarkozy, Mary played by Angela Merkel and the three 'wise' kings played by none other than the holy trilogy that is Brian Cowen, Mary Coughlan and Brian Lenehan. Also featured are the BP oil spill and the Icelandic volcano 'Kjhefhjksdhgfsdjkiwihjsdkjuoooooooobang'.
It was definitely a popular sight on our street. I really don't know how we can ever match it's greatness again.

Sensorium

I just had a piece performed the Sensorium festival. It was wonderful and very gratifying to be included. Everyone running the event did an AMAZING job. A great week altogether.
